Stamps Burning Rules
This page describes the redemption configuration for stamps programs. Unlike cashback and points, stamps redemption is tied to a specific product rather than a monetary value.
Configuration fields
Minimum transaction amount
The minimum purchase value required for a member to redeem a completed stamp card. Set to 0 for no minimum.
Maximum cart percentage
The maximum share of the total transaction that can be offset by the stamp reward. Set to 0 for no limit.
Example: with a 100% cap, a member can redeem a free coffee even if it is the only item in the transaction. With a 50% cap, the free coffee can only be redeemed alongside other items whose total exceeds the reward value.
Reward product name
The name of the product given as the reward when a stamp card is completed. This should match the name defined in the Stamps Earning Rules.
Example: Coffee, Gelato
Reward product value
The commercial value of the reward product in the program currency. When a member redeems a completed card, this amount is deducted from the transaction total.
Example: €2.00
How redemption works
When a member completes a stamp card, a redemption becomes available in their app. At the next qualifying purchase, the member can apply the reward. The system deducts the configured product value from the transaction, subject to the minimum transaction amount and maximum cart percentage limits.
The stamp card then resets to zero and the member begins collecting again.
