Cover image

The cover image is the visual element displayed alongside the promotion in the participant's app -- both in the promotions list on the Your card screen and in any detail view. A well-chosen image makes the promotion immediately recognizable and communicates its nature at a glance.

Options

Spraed offers two ways to add a cover image to a promotion:

Upload an existing image. You can upload an image you have already prepared. The image should be high resolution and sized to the recommended dimensions to avoid cropping or quality loss. Accepted formats are JPEG and PNG.

Create a cover from scratch. Spraed includes a built-in cover creation tool that allows you to build a simple, branded image directly within the platform without needing external design software. You can choose colors, add text, and compose a basic layout suitable for promotional use.

Best practices

The cover image is often the first thing a participant notices when scanning the promotions list. A few guidelines:

  • Use images that clearly relate to the promotion's theme or the products involved. Abstract or generic imagery tends to underperform.
  • Include the key benefit in the image text if the cover creation tool allows it -- for example, "2× points" or "+€5 cashback". Participants should not need to read the description to understand what is on offer.
  • Keep the image uncluttered. It will be displayed at a relatively small size in the list view.
  • Maintain visual consistency across promotions if you run multiple campaigns simultaneously. A coherent style makes your program feel professional and trustworthy.
